SKYPE CONSULTATION

Skype is a computer program that allows users to call and speak with other users via computer.  In many ways, it's similar to voice chat, but users also have the option of calling regular phones with the program.  Skype allows users to access a regular chat, as well, and users also can use the program to initiate conference calls.  

To request consultation under this option, clients will need to provide Thibodeaux with a valid Skype account name or a valid e-mail address.  Once the account name or e-mail address has been provided, Thibodeaux will be able to add the client to the Takingdictation.com contact list for Skype.  Additionally, clients will need to have a microphone or headset that can be plugged into their computer sound card or the microphone jack on their external computer speakers.

All of the benefits of phone consultation carry over onto Skupe consultation.  However, the advantage to using Skype over regular phone consultation is that Skype uses  the client's regular Internet connection.  Computer-to-computer calls thus are free.  Both Thibodeaux and clients therefore will not have to worry about racking up a huge phone bill if the client knows that they want to consult for a large amount of time.
