RATES

Takingdictation.com uses the average rates listed on writersmarket.com as the basis for most rates.  Small projects typically are charged on an hourly or per page basis. Generally, the hourly rate is between $15.00 to $30.00, depending on the technical complexity of the project. A simple proofreading of a document, for example, has different requirements than, say, a brochure in which image reformatting may be necessary or a project that requires research. Large projects usually receive a quote for the entire project, which generally ends up being cheaper in the long run than an hourly or per page rate would be.  Discounts are also available through making or submitting by referral(s), submitting multiple projects at a time, or via annual membership.
