How NOT Writing Can Cure Writer’s Block
I’ve had writer’s block so many times. For a long time, I let my fear of not producing and reaching goals drive. I tried to force words to the page, even when my mind was a mess and I simply couldn’t think. I got only more frustrated, and the words never did come.

Eventually, I realized it was a losing battle. I started walking away from the computer when I didn’t know what to say.
And wouldn’t you know, when I stopped trying to force it, things clicked.
This video helps explain why. Even though the clip focuses on writing, the principle holds for any area where you need to creatively produce.
