For the record, I don’t pretend to be some social media master. I’m still trying to figure out how much I want social media in my life at all, and as much as people say you have to use it, it’s still very much a personal choice. You can do other things to market yourself well, just as writers have done for years. If you do want to use it, do your best to find a rhythm of production and posting you can be consistent with.
That said, if there’s an area where I definitely need to improve, it’s engaging with other writers. I spend much of the time I have producing my content, and then the engagement tends to get pushed to the back burner. Over time, I’d like to reverse that.
